Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Secrets Tides Punta Casa using the room block rates offered through our travel agent. We want our wedding celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside the Wedding Day, be that at the pool, or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

When should we arrive?
You've traveled all this way, so you might as well make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available from September 9 to 16, 2026. And the Wedding Day is on Saturday, September 12th. We recommend that you arrive at least 1 or 2 days before the Wedding Day. But please come and stay as long as you'd like. If you want to arrive earlier than September 9th or stay longer than September 16th, just let MarieSam know at the time you make your reservation and she can request your extended stay at the discounted rate. 

What should I wear to the wedding?
The dress code for the wedding is “all black” = all black beach formal. Think beach elegance. 

Are children invited to the wedding?
While we love your families dearly, our celebration will be taking place at an adults-only resort - which requires that all guests are age 18+. We look forward to enjoying some sun, fun and relaxation with you in paradise!

What do we do about transportation in Punta Cana?
Shared transportation to and from Punta Cana Airport to our resort is included with our group block rates. If you would like to plan any private transfers or excursions, please ask our travel coordinator MarieSam for information and assistance on that request. 

Do you we have to stay at Secrets Tides? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
Yes, we ask that all guests stay at our host hotel Secrets Tides Punta Cana to attend our wedding celebration. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Punta Cana is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach elegant attire for the Wedding Day and beach chic attire for dinners on the other nights during your stay.
